About
Since birth, Annalyse McCoy has been fascinated and addicted to storytelling in all forms. A child of the mountains, having grown up a McCoy — descended from the family who fought the Hatfields in American history’s most fascinating feud — she lived off of the stories about her family legacy as well as the music so deeply ingrained into the culture of the Appalachian mountains. What fascinated her most was not always the “what” in the storytelling, but the “how.” Execution and meaning are two important aspects of narration that she believes strongly in and infuses into each project she takes on.
With a background in musical theatre, guitar + mandolin playing, singing, and many forms of dance, Annalyse has always strived to be a well-rounded artist, taking on every story she tells with compassion and heart.
As you can guess, Annalyse specializes in Appalachian regional accent work. But she can, and often does, also deliver Standard American and more. Contact via email for availability and customized samples.
